Random Thoughts on Role Play

*chuckles* I tend to come at Role Play a bit different than everyone else.  To me it’s about story, it’s about emotional connection to that universal expression of “life” be it pain or pleasure, to know that you are writing a story that someone else can relate to, no matter how outlandish the setting or character, THAT is what I RP for.  To know that I am not alone, that I am not so far into my disassociative disorder that I have lost grip on my humanity.  Thus why I post everything, because if you metagame, I call you out and I expect the same if I do it.  It’s not offensive to be called out on metagaming, it’s just an adjustment to the script. It’s not about winning, it’s about writing.

Time to Catch up!

Okay, taking a break from some of the most amazing storylines I’ve had the pleasure to Role Play in.  This weekend many of the players will be busy dealing with other things so we’ve decided to call a break from the intense plots and enjoy Real Life for a while.

Real Life…yeah, we play that too.

Anywho, It will give me some time to see my family, uncle and his wife will be in town as well as my brother whom I miss terribly.  It will also give me time to work on finalizing my Chapbook for posting here next week sometime.

I’ve also got two or three poems rolling about in my head that are demanding to be written down.  I’ve fallen behind on my steampunk posts, but that’s because…well…because I’m busy.

Don’t forget to check out “Dreaming of White Marble Tombstones” the teaser novella for my book.

The Life and Death of Love – A Chapbook

The Life and Death of Love is a project I have been working on recently.  A selection of my poems placed into a small chapbook.  Some of them you may recognize from this blog, a few of them newly published.

The Life and Death of Love spans the gamut of relationship stages.  From newly minted passion to the last goodbye.  I need to put a few finishing touches upon it, and then I shall post the PDF here for downloading.

A Flush of Jewelry!

I have such a thing for jewelry, I know I could never wear it all, but honestly how can you NOT love these?

I supposed if you didn’t like skulls…but that would just be weird.

It’s got a little dead squiggly thing! How cool is that?

I like the sunwheel in this one…yeah, I know they call it a cross, but it look like a sunwheel to me.

Celtic knotwork done well. Lovely ring!

I can’t wear rings because of my job, but wow I’m drooling over these.

and if you don’t like gold, this one is perfect for you! Such a pretty and delicate design!
